NEWLIFE BAPTIST CHURCH

About us
Newlife Baptist church started out with the name Baptist Church Mgbuosimini. The church was inaugurated after some days of crusade in the late Chief Echem’s palace. Thank God for the Faith Baptist Church Diobu that was used to start this church and also nurtured her to the point of organization
It is to God’s glory alone that the seed planted in 1985 is gradually growing to become a mighty tree. May NEWLIFE BAPTIST CHURCH grow to become what God has purposed her to be.
Our Purpose statement: Why we exist.
The church of Jesus Christ exists majorly for five reasons viz Worship, Ministry, Evangelism, Fellowship and Discipleship taking our cue from Rick warren’s book. The Purpose Driven church, Newlife Baptist church formulated her purpose statement in 2001.
This purpose statement is weaved around the five purpose of the church. It is expressed thus:
"TO RECONCILE MEN TO GOD AND HIS FAMILY,
BUILD THEM TO CHRISTIAN MATURITY; PREPARE
THEM FOR THEIR MINISTRY IN THE CHURCH AND IN
THE WORLD, IN ORDER TO GLORIFY GOD"
OUR LOGO
The Circle, Scripture, Fire, Cross, and Crown
OUR MOTTO
"Be ye reconciled to God"
The motto of Newlife Baptist Church is taking from 2 Cor. 5 : 20b.
This reflects one of the purposes of the church ie. Evangelism
